TASTE OF KERALA RESTAURANT - Zanky's Deli
Short, properly-done Keralan menu with generous biriyanis, free parking and high chairs — small inside, so go early with a pram.

Pub · Bristol
Tucked a little away from the rest of Bristol's pub scene, this is a roomy, wood-beamed place with booths and big tables, so a pram and a couple of children won't wedge you into a corner. The enclosed beer garden is the real draw in summer — proper flower-filled planters, plus a small covered bit for when the weather turns — and there's a fireplace going in winter. Burgers come with plenty of fries, the fish and chips arrives hot, and portions are generous for the money; vegan families are unusually well served, right down to a pudding that isn't just sorbet. High chairs, a kids' menu and free parking help. Food can be slow to appear even when it's quiet, and staff don't always check back, so flag what you need early. Sunday roasts are hit and miss.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
