Falmouth's harbour does a lot of the work here — the views from the tables are genuinely spectacular, and there's outdoor seating if you'd rather be out in it. It's an easy room to arrive at with a buggy: step-free entry with only a small bump at the threshold, and a large accessible toilet with floor space for changing an older child. High chairs and a kids' menu are there, plus vegan options, and dogs are welcome too. The kitchen leans Cornish and confident — local scallops, mussels, fish of the day, a fish finger sandwich that adults order unashamedly, and a duck scrumpet starter people come back for. Booking is worth it; it fills up, particularly evenings and holidays. Staff stay warm and unhurried even with big groups, which one parent describes as "second to none".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
