A brand-new soft play sits at the back here, split into a section for babies up to about two and a half and a bigger area for two-and-a-half to sixes, with a wooden imagination play area and climbing frame that children genuinely don't want to leave. There's a loo inside the play section, which saves the usual scramble. The coffee is the other reason to come — flat whites, V60 and Aeropress, decaf done properly — alongside croissants, pain au chocolat and proper brunch food. There's a kids' menu that isn't advertised online, high chairs, and vegan options. Space is limited, so come at 9:30 when it opens to get a table and keep the adult-to-child ratio low. Weekend parking is on the road out front; otherwise it's West Byfleet Station car park at £6 for the day. One parent found the music level just right for actually hearing each other.
