Restaurant · Truro
Truro's fish restaurant that doesn't look like much from the pavement — inside it's modern, warm and surprisingly relaxed, with staff who are cheerful and quick to sort you out, even when they have to improvise a seat. There are high chairs and a kids' menu, buggy access, and free parking, which takes the sting out of a family dinner. The seafood platter is the thing people come back for, and the haddock and chips arrives properly crisp — chips that stay crunchy to the last one. Scallops get raved about, the homemade bread is worth ordering for mopping up mussel sauce, and they'll happily do gluten-free or vegan. It's a proper sit-down dinner rather than a quick pit stop, so worth booking — one visitor arrived to no free tables at all.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
