You'd not expect a farm café outside Dingwall to run this smoothly on a busy Saturday, but the team here keep smiling through the rush — one family was warned of a fifteen-minute wait and were seated in five. There's a proper kids' menu, high chairs, and the enormous baked potatoes seem to be the thing children remember weeks later; the French toast with bacon and maple syrup and the homemade soups get the same treatment from grown-ups. Vegan options go beyond an afterthought (vegan fish is on there), the coffee is genuinely good, and the views across the countryside make it worth lingering. Free parking right outside, level buggy access, outdoor seating, and a small gift shop to distract anyone who's finished eating. It does get properly packed at peak times, so food can take a while — worth knowing before you arrive with a hungry toddler.
