Moorhouse Farm Shop & Coffee Shop
A relaxed farm shop and coffee spot in Morpeth, well-loved by locals at 4.6 stars and easy on the wallet for a family stop.

Cafés · Morpeth
Just outside Morpeth, this little café sits on the same site as a county-run plant nursery, which means free parking, room to spread out, and somewhere to take restless children afterwards — wooded walks, a secret garden and rows of shrubs to look at. Inside is bright and roomy with windows onto the garden centre, plus a veranda and outdoor tables when the weather holds. High chairs, buggy access and a kids' menu are all sorted. The food is the draw: proper full English breakfasts with generous portions at prices that surprise people, and good coffee and cake. Staff are cheerful and attentive with families, and it stays fairly quiet. Two snags — it gets busy, and the car park is small, so it fills at peak times.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
