Sat on an industrial estate just off the M5, which sounds unpromising until you realise it means acres of free parking right outside and no kerb-wrestling with a pram. Inside it's an American diner setup, roomy, busy with locals, with high chairs and a kids' menu, plus outdoor seating and grass and trees out front for when someone needs to run around. Breakfasts are the thing — genuinely enormous, hot, quickly served, not greasy, and the milkshakes go down very well with children. Food comes fast, which matters when a toddler has hit the wall, and the open kitchen is spotless. Not the cheapest fry-up around, but the quality justifies it. One honest note: the toilets have had complaints, so don't count on them for a nappy change.
