A relaxed all-day spot in the middle of Wokingham that does brunch properly — the Hamlet stack with its mixed berry compote gets a lot of love, as do the Eggs Benedict and a Full English lifted by homemade baked beans. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and step-free access for a pram, plus outdoor tables when the room fills up. Staff are genuinely warm and flexible: sold out of croissants, they'll bring you a warm scone instead, and one family who arrived at a busy moment were happily seated at the kitchen bar, which turned into free entertainment watching the chefs work. Vegan and vegetarian options are properly done rather than an afterthought. It does get busy — book if you're coming at a weekend or with a group, and dinner (three courses around £30) is a step up in price from brunch.
