A proper Pembrokeshire breakfast stop, and one that copes cheerfully with a full room — even when it's busy, food comes out fast and hot, which matters when someone small has hit the wall. Seating is spacious and spotless, with room to park a buggy, high chairs on hand, and free parking outside, plus outdoor tables and a kids' menu. Breakfasts are the draw: generous, fairly priced, and the sort people drive back for. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome too. Two things worth knowing — they don't do swaps on the cooked breakfasts, so extras cost more, and it winds down early, with tables cleared and the toilet locked before closing time, so go earlier rather than at the tail end of lunch. One parent calls the staff "always welcoming and friendly".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
