Tucked close to Queen Street Station, this is an Indian kitchen that runs on tapas-style small plates, which turns out to be handy with children — you order a few things, share, and nobody's stuck with a plate they won't touch. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and room to get a buggy in, plus proper vegan choices. The butter chicken and dal makhani come up again and again, the honey chilli potatoes are sweet-spicy and go down well with older kids, and the fish and prawn dishes are worth ordering. Portions are generous. Drinks arrive fast even when it's packed, and the staff are warm without hovering. It's genuinely busy most nights, so service can slow at peak and it's worth booking; parking is a short walk away rather than outside the door.
