Later in the day the gourmet burger, the sweet potato tart and the lobster club all draw genuine praise, and the afternoon tea is a pretty thing to sit over. Two honest caveats: prices lean towards hotel guests rather than a casual family lunch, and when the team is short-staffed service can be slow — steaks in particular don't always come back as ordered.
