Sunday roasts are the thing to come for: huge servings, cheese and leek croquettes, properly good gravy, a kids' portion around £16, plus veggie, vegan and low-gluten options. Weekday food leans fried and heavy, so manage expectations. It fills up from about 1pm on Sundays, so book or come early. Service can be hit and miss — friendly and quick some visits, slow to notice you on others. High chairs, buggy access, free parking, and children welcome until around 8pm.
