A wooden shack by the surf at Godrevy, with a balcony looking straight out to sea and the car park right next door — which makes the pram-and-beach-bag shuffle a lot easier than most Cornish coast stops. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and plenty of outdoor tables, and children tend to love the sparrows that hop down to be hand-fed. Families rave about the french toast with bacon and maple syrup, the beef rendang with herb rice, generous portions and genuinely good coffee and hot chocolate. Staff are warm with little ones. Two honest notes: it gets very busy in summer, and food can be slow at peak times — one family waited 40 minutes for lunch — so it's a safer bet for cake and drinks if you're on a tight, hungry-toddler clock.
