Thai · Bath
Set inside a handsome old building with high ceilings and proper elbow room, this is an easier Thai dinner with children than most — the ground floor has room to park a buggy, and there's a large outdoor area that comes into its own on a warm afternoon. Portions are generous and they'll happily box up what the children don't finish. The pork belly bites and the chicken red Thai curry with jasmine rice get the loudest praise; the sticky chicken can come out a bit dry. Staff are warm and know the menu well, and they're good at leaving you alone rather than hovering. Worth knowing: larger group bookings have occasionally been kept waiting well past their table time, so build in a buffer if you've got hungry children in tow. One family called the whole room "stunning".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
