The Gaucho platter is the thing to order — cooked exactly to order, and extra sauces arrived within about two minutes of asking. The set menu is genuinely good value at under twenty pounds for two courses, and the chocolate brownie gets talked about. Staff go out of their way for occasions: one couple, out for the first evening since having their baby, got a candle and a birthday message written in chocolate without asking. Worth knowing: it's a proper £££ spend, it books up solid, and steaks have occasionally come out cooked wrong — though the team sorted it and took it off the bill.
