Tucked opposite Adventure Parc Snowdonia, this bright little spot has been a rescue for more than one family who found every pub in the area fully booked. It's mainly a takeaway, so food comes fast — one visitor had a burger in their hands within five minutes, which matters when a child has hit the wall. There are tables and chairs outside for decent weather, high chairs, a kids' menu and free parking right at the front, though there are no toilets, worth knowing with little ones. The meat is local, the burgers are made fresh in front of you, and portions are generous for the money. Families rave about the halloumi kebab, the lamb tacos and the triple-cooked chips in cheese sauce. The team are warm and genuinely helpful — one parent was even offered food carried out to their van.
