The catch is the front end: at busy times, like a late Friday afternoon, families have waited around fifteen minutes just to be seated and then again to catch someone's eye. Staff are generally warm and check back regularly. The chicken burgers and sandwiches get particular praise, the lasagne too, and mozzarella sticks are filling enough to share. Portions are generous for the price — around £20 a head — and the alcohol-free drinks, especially the strawberry lemonade, are worth a look.
