A bright, busy little spot in Carlisle where the welcome is quick and genuine — families, couples and well-behaved dogs all mixed in together, with plenty of seating so a pram isn't a problem and buggy access is sorted. Brunch is the thing to come for: the full breakfast gets praised for crispy bacon, well-seasoned sausages and eggs cooked how you asked, and the tuna melt with chips and rocket is a solid lighter option. The coffee is genuinely excellent. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, outdoor seating and free parking, and although there's no separate vegan menu the staff will happily adapt dishes. It does get packed, and extras like mushrooms cost more — expect around £32 for two breakfasts and coffees. One parent found the staff "very accommodating" about dietary needs.
