The scones come enormous, with jam and clotted cream, and the all-day breakfast lands hot and generous, with cereal on offer for smaller appetites. Buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu are all sorted, there's outdoor seating for when the noise level rises, and free parking outside. The team are genuinely patient — one family were handed crayons and colouring paper unprompted, and a grandson "did not want to leave". It gets properly busy on Saturdays; expect a wait of around fifteen minutes at peak, though staff warn you upfront. Dogs are welcome too, and they've been known to produce sausages for them. Vegan options available, and packed lunches if you're heading out walking.
