A small, family-run Polish place in the middle of Leamington, run by owners who tend to look after you rather than just serve you — handy when you arrive with children in tow. It's a compact room, tidy and warmly decorated, with high chairs, a kids' menu and buggy access, plus outdoor seating if you'd rather not squeeze a pram between tables. Free on-street parking nearby saves the usual circling. Everything is made from scratch and portions are genuinely huge: the potato pancakes with pork stew, the mielone, tender schabowy, and meat dumplings served with fresh, crunchy salads (around £13 for ten with a mountain of salad). Leave room for the homemade cheesecake. Prices are reasonable for what lands on the plate, and one parent describes the feeling as simply "very homely".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
