A Brazilian churrascaria in the middle of Edinburgh sounds like an odd choice with children, but the endless-skewer format works surprisingly well when small people are hungry — meat arrives at the table constantly, so nobody waits. There's a market table buffet to graze from while you decide, a kids' menu, high chairs and buggy access. The beef fillet gets the most praise, soft and juicy, alongside lamb, chicken, pork and the occasional wagyu. Staff are unfailingly patient and quick to sort birthdays or special requests, and one large group of 17 with eight children in tow reported everyone had a brilliant time. It isn't cheap — around £40 a head even at lunch — and it's a booking-ahead, sit-down-properly sort of place rather than a quick pit stop. Worth it for a celebration.
