It gets genuinely busy at weekends, and a Saturday breakfast can mean a half-hour wait, so come with snacks or aim for a quieter slot. Worth it though: baguettes stuffed with proper ingredients, homemade cakes, generous portions, and a full English that regulars swear by. Staff are warm and quick with table service, and they take allergies seriously — one family with a coeliac child found their order double-checked and brought out separately.
