Breakfasts are the draw: the simple fry-up gets praise for its black pudding, bacon, beans and a tattie scone that isn't soggy, and there's a vegan version people rate too. Kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, outdoor seating and free parking all help. It fills up at weekends, so tables aren't always ready, and a few find breakfast a bit pricey and the drinks arriving well ahead of the food.
