Sides are 3 for £10 if you're feeding a hungry table. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access and outdoor seating, and the staff are the sort who notice you and want you to enjoy it — one parent found the greeting warm and the food timed just right. Worth knowing: it can get very loud near the entrance and tables sit close together, so ask for the quieter area out the back when you book, especially on matchdays. Prices are fair — a large wine and a pint came to £14. The Caesar salad and steak pie with mash are safe bets too.
