Fish & Chips
A budget-friendly Brighton fish and chips takeaway with a kids' menu and outdoor seating, rated 4.4 by nearly 400 reviewers.

Pizza · Brighton
There's a proper Naples feel to this North Laine spot, and it handles a family arriving mid-afternoon without fuss — buggy access, high chairs, a kids' menu and a summer terrace out front if the inside is full, which it often is on a Saturday. Food comes out fast, which matters when someone's fraying: drinks within minutes, pizzas not long after. The Capricciosa gets praise for its tomato sauce, the white-base pizzas with ham or pancetta and gorgonzola are worth ordering, and the arancini and fries disappear quickly. Portions are generous and prices reasonable for what arrives. Staff are warm and genuinely good with a busy table — one family said it felt "like you're eating with friends". Worth booking at weekends, and the odd pizza comes out slightly underdone on the base.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
