Italian small plates in Liverpool where dishes arrive as they're ready — kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access, and a £19 lunch deal.

Brunch · Liverpool
Corner-sited and hard to walk past, this Liverpool café has a semi-retro look and plenty of seating, which helps when you arrive with a pram and a hungry toddler — buggy access and high chairs are both sorted, and there's a kids' menu. Brunch is the strength: sausage and egg brioche baps, beans and cheese on sourdough, eggs Benedict, a mushroom omelette with feta and pesto, and freshly squeezed orange juice that people mention again and again. Food generally comes out fast, which matters mid-meltdown, though drinks can lag when it's busy. Portions lean light rather than huge and it's not cheap — brunch with a coffee can reach £20 — and Friday lunchtimes fill up completely. Staff stay friendly under pressure, dogs are welcome, and there's outdoor seating in summer.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
