Portions are generous and arrive quickly once you're seated: soft, warm flatbread with the hummus, tender charcoal chicken kebab, whole grilled seabass, and sharing platters that feed four with rice, salad and dips. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, buggy access and a few tables outside, plus vegan and halal options. The two-course lunch set at £16, served 11am to 5pm, is the calmest way to do it — evenings get busy, there's often a short queue at the door, and inside can feel cramped if you end up near the bathroom, so ask for a table away from the walkway. Central enough to fold into a day in town.
