Bread and dips arrive free for the table, which buys you time before mains, and the sharing platters — mixed grilled meats, salad, chips and sauces — comfortably feed a family with food left over. Staff are quick with drinks and genuinely warm. Two things worth knowing: sound carries here, so a full room gets noisy, and the ladies' loos have gappy doors. Around £32 for two with drinks makes it good value.
