Blossoms play cafe
Two toy-filled rooms plus a baby corner, lovely cake and fair prices — a play café where you can genuinely chat.

Cafés · Ripley
A chilled, tidy little café on the main road that gets genuinely busy — book if you can, because families turn up and find it full at weekends. Breakfast is served all day, which is a gift when your toddler decides at 2pm that they want beans on toast, and portions are generous enough to share. The full English and eggs Benedict both come in for real praise, along with the coffee and a Victoria sponge worth ordering. Staff stay warm and quick even when the room is packed; one large group found they'd made up little plates for the children without being asked, and dietary requirements were handled without fuss. There's a small, cosy outdoor seating area, high chairs, a kids' menu and step-free access. Free parking, though the car park is tight — many end up on the road.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
