Café · Droitwich
Tucked beside the lido in the park, this is the kind of café that gets crowded for a reason — and the bacon sandwich is most of it, with one parent claiming they haven't found a better one anywhere in Worcestershire. The bacon teacake gets the same devotion. Coffee comes off a proper barista setup with milk alternatives, and there's real vegan provision (sausage rolls, flapjacks) plus plenty of gluten-free, so mixed-diet families aren't stuck. Food is homemade and generally well priced, though a few grumble that sausage rolls have crept up. High chairs, a kids' menu and buggy access are all there, outdoor seating helps when the kids are loud, and parking is £4 for the day. Service can wobble when it's busy — drinks sometimes arrive well after the food. Dogs are welcome, often treated to a biscuit.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
