About DoughDaze Newcastle

A New York-style slice shop where a huge wedge of pizza costs about £2.50 and a whole one lands around £6–7.50 — genuinely useful when you're feeding children who may or may not finish it. Slices come out of the oven in roughly two minutes, which matters when someone's patience has run out, and you can watch the pizza being made while you wait. High chairs, a kids' menu and buggy access are there, plus outdoor seating, though inside is snug and seating is limited, so a busy lunchtime with a pram can feel tight. Staff are consistently warm. The buffalo chicken slice gets the most love, along with the cheesy dough balls, the homemade garlic sauce and a vanilla milkshake one parent's three-year-old adored. Chilli sprinkles come on the side — one visitor found their pizza overwhelmingly hot, so ask.
