Pizza · Bath
Sourdough is the whole point here — fluffy in the middle, blistered and crisp at the edge — and the kitchen takes it seriously enough that the gluten-free bases (sourdough, turmeric and others) are coeliac-safe and genuinely hard to tell apart from the regular ones, which is a rare thing to be able to promise a coeliac child. There's a kids' menu, high chairs and a few outdoor tables, and the staff are attentive without hovering, so food tends to land at a sensible pace rather than leaving anyone to unravel. Two honest snags: pizzas run past £18, so it's a treat rather than a Tuesday, and inside is snug — better for two to four than a big group. The vegan pizza parcel is enormous; one parent found it "difficult to finish".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
