Black Sheep Coffee - Spring Gardens
A well-rated central Manchester coffee store, handy for a mid-range pause and a proper brew with the family.

Pizza · Manchester
Tucked just off Market Street on Spring Gardens, this small Neapolitan pizzeria is a genuinely good bet with children in tow — buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu, plus vegan options. It's compact, though, and fills up fast at dinner, so an early or off-peak table is your friend if you've got a pram. The open kitchen is a decent distraction while you wait, and food comes out quickly even when it's heaving; the staff stay friendly and are switched-on about allergies, with gluten-free bases for £2 extra (shared oven, so they're upfront about cross-contamination). Pizzas are large and properly done — the salami-and-Parmigiano Sempliciotta and the pesto-based Genovese both get raved about, and the tiramisù has real fans. Around £14 a head, which regulars call "cheaper than my usual spots for a better pizza".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
