Handy for a pre-theatre bite in the middle of Glasgow, with a car park right out front and buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu inside. Portions land generously — the calzone comes out "massive, piping hot", the Americana pizza gets praised for its crust, and the meatballs in their own sauce are a regular order. Prices sit lower than much of the city centre, and pizzas tend to be better value than the pasta. Staff are warm and accommodating with children even when it's heaving, though on a busy night you may have to work a bit to catch someone's eye. It's more bright-and-bustling than hushed, so clattering plates won't stand out — helpful with a noisy toddler, less so if you want calm. Food quality can be hit and miss.
