Indian · Glasgow
A cosy, softly lit Indian restaurant in Glasgow where the welcome does a lot of the work — the owners genuinely fuss over you, help you pick a dish, and food lands hot and fast, which matters when a toddler has hit their limit. There are high chairs, a kids' menu and buggy access, though the room is snug rather than sprawling, so a big pram may need parking by the door. The cooking tastes homemade rather than heavy: haggis pakora, goat curry, palak paneer, saag broccoli with paneer, and fluffy buttered naan get the most love, and one parent called the chicken tikka masala anything but bog-standard. Vegan options are on. The £12.95 two-course lunch is a genuinely good deal. The menu is smaller at lunchtime, and it's worth booking at weekends.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
