A casual burger and cider place in Yeovil town centre that works well for a family lunch — roomy enough for a pram, with high chairs, a kids' menu and a patio that's a real draw in summer. Inside is properly air conditioned, which matters on a hot day with a hot toddler. The team get consistently good marks for being friendly and sorting out special requests, and food often arrives quickly and hot in generous portions. The burgers, mozzarella sticks, curly and sweet potato fries and the Daim shake all get particular praise, and the coffee is genuinely well made. Worth knowing: some of the seating isn't especially comfortable, so you may shuffle tables, and the odd visit has been let down by slow, lukewarm food. One parent sums it up as "the place to go for a proper burger".
