The Ox Shed, Cotswold Farm Park
A family spot at Cotswold Farm Park with a kids' menu, high chairs, vegan options and outdoor seating for sunny days.

Restaurant · Cheltenham
A day here is really a farm day with lunch attached — rare breeds, newborn lambs and goat kids to bottle-feed, chicks to hold, sheep shearing, sand painting and a tractor-and-trailer ride (£1 a head on top of entry, and it's a fairly quick loop). Play equipment is plentiful and paths are flat and wide, so a pram or wheelchair goes anywhere; parking is free, there are high chairs and a kids' menu, and one family with under-sixes has come back every year for eight years. Food is a mixed picture: the loaded chicken Caesar fries and pizza in the Ox-shed get real praise, but portions can feel pricey and tables slow to be cleared at peak. Many parents bring a packed lunch and save the café for coffee. The two-mile wildlife walk is worth the legs.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
