A proper sit-down breakfast is the draw here, and there's genuine room to do it with children — a big, bright room right off the A1 with a large free car park, so no wrestling a pram down a narrow pavement. Food comes out fresh to order and, more usefully, everything arrives together, so nobody's meal goes cold while another is still coming. The team are patient and happy to tweak plates for fussy eaters; portions are huge and prices genuinely fair for what lands. There's a beer garden for summer, and dogs are welcome. Two honest notes: the interior is dated and could do with a refit, and at busy times the wait stretches — though staff tend to warn you upfront. Eggs Benedict and the full breakfast get the most love; one parent simply calls it "superb".
