A laid-back Faversham cafe with a kids' menu, high chairs, outdoor seating and vegan options — easy and affordable for the whole family.

Cafés · Faversham
A high-street café in Faversham that manages the rare trick of being genuinely busy and still calm to sit in — there's proper room, with the main room plus a covered patio out back, so a pram isn't a problem and nobody has to shuffle tables. The staff are chatty and unhurried with children, and there are high chairs and a kids' menu. Food is the draw: meaty sausages in the full English (£9.50, or larger for £3 more), the chicken, avocado and bacon baguette, halloumi wraps with sweet chilli, homemade quiche. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan choices are all properly catered for, not afterthoughts. Around £10–11 a head with drinks, and leftovers get boxed up without asking. Two snags: it gets very busy, and there's only one loo.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
