Coffee Shops · Bath
Sitting right on the water in the Riverside development, this is the kind of café that works when you've got a pram and nowhere quiet to put it — the inside is genuinely huge, with comfy chairs, window tables looking out over the Avon and free customer parking for two hours if you've driven in. Staff are consistently warm and unhurried, there's a kids' menu and high chairs, plus free refillable water and clean bathrooms. The coffee comes in two blends (a smooth one and a sweeter one), and the vegan cinnamon buns, cakes and granola get a lot of love. It's a handy stop off the Bristol–Bath railway path, with bike parking outside and a few outdoor tables. Worth knowing: it gets very busy at peak times, and the wifi is patchy. One parent calls it "very relaxing" — dogs welcome too.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
