Handy if you're arriving by train — it's right in Worcester city centre, close to the station, and the inside is laid out with enough space between tables that you're not apologising to strangers for your pram. It's a cosy room, pictures all over the walls, a Latin American slant to the menu and a specials board alongside all-day breakfast. Service is quick, which matters when a toddler has decided lunch should have happened ten minutes ago, and the staff are warm without fussing. Portions are generous for the price — the lasagne gets particular praise, and the ultimate breakfast is a proper plateful. Vegan and veggie options plus non-dairy milk, a kids' menu, high chairs and a few outdoor tables. Coffee is the weak spot: several people found the lattes thin. Otherwise, as one parent puts it, "cool and relaxed".

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
