The mood is chilled rather than hushed, so a chatty toddler won't stand out. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, and outdoor seating under sunny umbrellas that pulls people in from the street. Food arrives quickly, which matters when someone's melting down: the sweet potato and leek soup, the ham and mozzarella toastie, and properly cooked chips with a decent portion all get singled out. Cakes are generous — the Viennese whirl is enormous — though the chocolate one can run a touch dry. Prices are reasonable, and free Wi-Fi helps.
