Outdoor seating comes with heaters, so it's usable most of the year, and there are clean free public toilets in the same centre. Scones, lemon cake and the smoothies get a lot of love too. Worth knowing: it gets genuinely crowded, and Sunday mornings are swamped by cycling groups holding tables — one parent found "an inordinately long queue". Come midweek or early.
