Buckland Manor
A refined country house hotel in Broadway with lush gardens, tennis, and fine dining for a special family stay.

Restaurants · Broadway
Pretty village setting just outside Broadway, with its own car park (about ten spaces, and residents would rather you didn't park on the road out front). Inside it's calm and well kept — background music at a sensible volume, a button on the table to press for service, and a garden that comes into its own on a warm evening. Staff are unfailingly patient: high chairs and plastic children's cutlery appear without fuss, and one family turning up at 2pm were still cooked for happily. The children's menu is broad, and there are gluten-free and vegan menus too, though gluten-free vegetarians will find the choice thin. Food is elevated pub cooking with generous portions — the pie of the day, lamb shank with mash, fish and chips, and a cheesecake regulars describe as smooth as ice cream. Busy at weekends; booking is wise.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
