Kind Coffee
A warmly-rated Norwich cafe with outdoor seating and vegan options — an easy, relaxed spot for a family coffee stop.

Pub · Norwich
A proper old-school Norwich local that's had a shake-up under new management, and families are noticing the difference. It's cosy rather than cavernous, with outdoor seating when you need the children to run about and free parking so you're not circling the block with a pram. Buggy access, high chairs and a kids' menu are all sorted. The roasts get real praise, the steak comes thick and properly cooked with good chips and onion rings, and baguettes are made fresh — all at prices that make a fast-food stop look poor value. Staff are genuinely patient with noisy children; one family found their kids were played with and calmed down while waiting for food. Worth knowing there's karaoke and evening entertainment from 8pm midweek, so it gets lively later — an early tea is the calmer bet.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
