It's cosy rather than roomy, so a big pram may need parking by the door, but the welcome is genuinely warm and the staff take changes to a child's plate in their stride — one family had their son's meal adjusted without a murmur. There's a kids' menu, high chairs, vegan and gluten-free choices, and free parking, which takes the stress out of arriving. Portions are generous for the price: the full English, homemade tomato soup, smashed avocado on toast and the battered fish butty all get raved about, and Friday is burger night.
