It's a calm room on a quiet street, big windows thrown open in good weather, plenty of natural light, and a mix of seating including settees, which helps when you've got a buggy and a toddler who won't sit still. Kids' menu and high chairs are there, plus vegan and gluten-free choices and genuinely generous sandwich portions. Staff strike the balance of attentive without hovering, and dogs are welcome too. Coffee prices are reasonable; the matcha comes properly made in a little pot.
