Seafood · Falmouth
Cornish seafood done with real skill, in a room that manages to feel cosy rather than cramped — booths, candles and fairy lights, and enough space to get a pram in. The kitchen's strength is fish: scallops, crab, prawns and mussels come out hot and carefully cooked, and there's a proper kids' menu (the plaice goujons go down well with little ones). Food arrives quickly, which matters when someone's hungry and wriggling, and the team are attentive without hovering — one family found nothing was too much trouble. High chairs are available and there's outdoor seating for warmer days. Worth knowing: it's on the pricier side, and the seafood platter is huge — easily shared between two or even three, so one between the family goes further than you'd think.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
