Restaurant · Paignton
Tucked just back from Goodrington Sands, this is the sort of place that works for a family lunch without feeling like a compromise. Food comes out fast, which matters when someone's patience is running short, and the plates are generous for the price — the Cantina burger is enormous, the beef tacos get people coming back the next day, and there's crab on sourdough if you want something lighter. Kids are genuinely welcome, with books and games to keep them occupied, high chairs, a children's menu and outdoor seating in good weather. Vegan and plant-based options are properly handled. Parking is free and close if you put the venue's own postcode into your maps app rather than heading for the beach car park — the lanes are fiddly. It gets busy, and they don't take cash, card or phone only.

A little something creative for your next meal out. Filled with colouring, simple drawing prompts for cute animals, origami and conversation starters designed to bring more play, laughter and connection to the table. 3 free printable packs for toddlers, preschoolers and primary-aged children.
