You order at the counter, where there's a kids' menu and high chairs, and the coffee is speciality beans rather than an afterthought. Breakfasts are enormous; the full English defeats most people. The baking is the real draw — pistachio brownie, blueberry lemon cake, warm cheese scones. One parent found the hash bowl a touch salty. It isn't cheap: two meals, two drinks and pastries came to around £50. Free parking and a handful of outdoor tables help.
